What is the Connecting the Dots Conference? 
The Area 4 Family Care Council is excited to present their 8th Annual Connecting the Dots (CTD) Conference. ​This wonderful, educational conference provides advocates and families with up-to-date information on supports, services, and local community resources for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The conference will also host breakout sessions with presentations on a variety of topics affecting the lives of individuals with unique abilities. Topics cover early intervention through elder care for individuals with various disabilities. 
​
Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with more than 70 local and statewide resource exhibitors.

2024 Keynote Speaker: Taylor Hatch, APD Director 
We are honored to welcome our keynote speaker, Director Taylor Hatch, Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Taylor Hatch was appointed as the Director of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in February 2023. She leads 2,500 employees around the state who are in six regional offices and three state-run facilities. The agency serves more than 60,000 Floridians with seven types of developmental disabilities. APD works with local organizations and private providers to support people who have developmental disabilities and their families in living, learning, and working in their communities.
